Enlightened

I really have so much to say 

But how is that different

Then any other day 

Too many voices

Existing only to drown me out 

But that’s okay 

I know that you could forget me easily 

And I now see that so clearly 

Though I don’t know if I appreciate the enlightenment

Being so generously bestowed upon me
