Picture on the Wall

I don’t like that picture on the wall

But I like the boy who hung it there

Is that enough to bring me here?

Yeah its enough to bring me to my tears

It’s another day and I’m waiting for perfection

With one exception, perfection isn’t waiting for me

Is that enough to keep me believing?

It’s enough to keep me dreaming

It’s my fault I don’t speak up

At times like these

Times like these

Oh I wanted to believe in you

But I don’t believe in me

If he’s the best thing that happens to me

All day long why is that so wrong?

But they don’t want to begin to understand

I call it ignorance

It’s my fault I don’t speak up

At times like these

Times like these

Yes I wanted to believe in you

But I don’t believe in me

Yeah I wanted to have faith in you

But I don’t have faith in me
