Planet Earth

Oh this planet my feet touch delicately

Like a serpent slithering low

While my mind soars as an eagle flies

Or as a flower grows

They call it Planet Earth

Oh this tangled web I’ve chosen

Oh the people I’ve chose

Long ago and far away

Will I see them again someday

Probably not on Planet Earth

So I ask Father why have you forsaken me?

She says, “I am here, my child, What’s the matter?

Don’t you See? You’re on Planet Earth.”

Can you imagine being born again,

Right back into this world

Some call it death and

Some call it birth

Oh welcome to Planet Earth
