Ego and Spirit

Ego says, “I know.”

Spirit says, “Every moment is new, and I am here to experience each in its newness.”

Ego has been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and wears it proudly.

Spirit is naked.

Ego relies on interpretations of past experiences, which are, by nature, limited.

Spirit acts on faith, discovery, innocence, and its relationship with the infinite.

Ego is like the parent, always cautioning the personalty, suggesting the “better” and “safer” route.

Spirit is like the child, spreading its wings, here to dance with the moment and GROW.
